I recently stayed at the Marriott in downtown Quebec and had a wonderful experience. The location was absolutely fantastic, allowing me to easily explore Old Quebec and Grande Allee. Being right outside the walls of Old Quebec was an incredible advantage, especially since there were concerts happening in the nearby common square. The staff, from the lovely young lady at the front desk to the helpful young men at the concierge, were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room itself was perfect, with a comfortable bed and fabulous pillows that ensured I woke up without any neck pain in the morning. Additionally, the hotel allowed me to check in early, making my stay even more relaxing. I couldn't have asked for a better location or a better experience at the Marriott.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Location: The hotel was conveniently located just outside the wall to the Upper Town, making it easy to explore the shopping, attractions, and restaurants in the area. It was also located next to a paid parking lot, which was convenient for guests with cars.
Internet charge confusion: Although the hotel offered free wifi, guests were initially charged a fee unless they signed in with an authorized code. This confusion was quickly resolved by the helpful staff, who waived the cost.
